SmartScan browser demo
The demo stores your item names, barcodes, and quantities in your current browser's local storage on your device. It does not send this demo list to an Appalachian Logic Works server and does not synchronize between devices. Clearing browser site data, using private browsing, or changing devices can remove the list.
Do not enter sensitive personal information in your demo item names. This is an early demonstration and not a cloud backup service.
Camera access
If you choose to start the camera scanner, your browser requests camera permission. Camera frames are analyzed locally in the browser using its available barcode detection capabilities; this website does not upload the camera feed. You can stop the camera at any time or revoke permission in your browser.
Website delivery
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with typical website hosting, Cloudflare may process network requests and security or operational data under its own policies. This static site does not include an account registration form, advertising tracking code, or a connected payment system.
Future changes
Customer accounts, subscriptions, remote inventory synchronization, and integrations are not part of this demo. We will update this notice and provide appropriate service terms before introducing those features.
